Donate to Our Pool Campaign

HELLO LA FORET FRIENDS!
Here at La Foret Conference and Retreat Center, the pool has served as a central point of connection for campers, counselors, staff, and guests alike. How devastating it is to know that our beloved pool has been out of commission for almost a whole year.
Not to fret! We are actively planning to renovate our beloved pool in June of THIS year! That’s right, 2026! We want to bring back these special moments and memories for anyone and everyone who chooses to come to our property!
The cost for these renovations will be $100,000. We can’t make this renovation possible without your help, and we so appreciate how much you treasure this place! Any donation helps us recreate this cherished space.
We are so appreciative of your support and shared excitement as we look forward to a bright future with our restored pool! There will be renovation updates in our emailed newsletter that you can follow along with. We are looking forward to sharing this journey of anticipation with you! Warmly, Staff of La Foret Conference and Retreat Center

WHY SHOULD YOU SUPPORT OUR POOL CAMPAIGN?
From Logan Bennett, Director of Transformational Programs:
I remember one summer at Voyager Camp – one of those first years after the pandemic. As I stood by the pool, watching the sunlight glint off the water and the happy chaos of middle schoolers splashing around, I was reminded of the simple magic of camp. I didn’t expect what happened next. A cluster of grinning campers spotted me and insisted I join them. I laughed, saying I wasn’t prepared! The disappointment in their eyes turned into a gleeful challenge. Without missing a beat, I handed my phone to a counselor and jumped right in – shorts, camp tee, and all. The cheers echoed, and for 20 glorious minutes, we swam under the blue Colorado sky, turning an ordinary afternoon into a core memory. That pool became more than a pool. It was a container for connection. Now, as we plan a new pool, I dream of countless more memories just like that splash, waiting to be made.
