About the Event
For generations, First Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ has hosted a Community Camp that people return to year after year—a space of connection, rest, play, and belonging. This year, something special is happening: that beloved tradition is opening its circle a little wider.
In partnership with La Foret, Community Camp is expanding to welcome the broader Rocky Mountain Conference of the United Church of Christ. While the heart of the camp remains exactly the same—led by First Plymouth’s trusted leadership and rooted in decades of meaningful tradition—there is now space for new relationships to form across communities.
If you’ve never experienced Community Camp before, imagine a few days where the pace softens and something deeper has room to emerge. Days are filled with simple joys: shared meals, time outdoors, creative activities, conversations that matter, and the kind of laughter that comes easily when people feel at home. Whether you come as a family, with friends, or on your own, there is a place for you here.
This is not a camp you have to “perform” at. It’s a space to arrive as you are—to rest, to play, to reconnect, to meet others, and maybe even to rediscover something within yourself.
At La Foret, we often talk about creating spaces where people can imagine and experience the world as it could be. Community Camp has been quietly doing that work for years. This summer, we’re widening the circle.
