Nestled in the heart of Black Forest, surrounded by over 350 acres of majestic Ponderosa Pines, you’ll find the perfect rustic getaway for a retreat or conference...

La Foret is open year round. Located minutes from I-25, La Foret offers an sanctuary of inspiring scenery in a peaceful, private setting. 

With meeting, dining, and sleeping facilities for groups large or small, La Foret is proud to host a great variety of events ranging from: corporate, educational, spiritual, to family reunions, weddings, receptions, and team building.

La Foret's own program events strive to nurture the soul, offer rest, renewal and provide transformational experiences those in attendance. 

Comfortable, well-equipped, unique conference spaces are available to accommodate any need. All of the buildings are located around the perimeter of a wide-open, grassy meadow- perfect for games, concerts, and other outdoor group activities. Recreational facilities include a heated outdoor swimming pool (open Memorial Day through Labor Day), softball field, tennis and basketball courts, a horseshoe pit, gaga ball court, and walking trails.

The grounds also boast three fire circles as well as a beautiful labyrinth. Other on-site amenities include wi-fi, a camp souvenir shop (open to your group by appointment), picnic areas, and audio/visual equipment.

La Foret welcomes groups from a wide variety of organizations, including but not limited to faith communities, nonprofits, educational institutions, businesses, and community groups seeking meaningful retreat experiences. Children, youth, and adult camps fill summer months. Schools have come for challenge ropes, education, and service projects. Counseling and recovery groups are frequent visitors. Native American Ute Tribes have held prayer retreats focused on the Ute modified ponderosa trees on this historically Ute land.
