WEDDINGS AT LA FORET

The La Foret Conference & Retreat Center, in the heart of beautiful Black Forest is an ideal location for a memorable and romantic wedding with and outdoorsy touch.

Taylor Memorial Chapel

With its majestic views of Pikes Peak, our unique, southwestern style Taylor Memorial Chapel is an exceptional location for your ceremony. Built in 1931, by prominent Santa Fe architect John Gaw Meem the Taylor Memorial Chapel features adobe walls, a mission-style bell, second floor indoor/outdoor balcony, and original reredos by artist Eugenie Shonnard.

Rental fee for Chapel is $800 for four hours- typically brides and grooms utilize one hour for rehearsal and three hours for day-of set-up, pictures, and ceremony.

Inglis Hall

Our reception and banquet hall, Inglis Hall, is a modern reception hall with rustic touches and an overall lodge feel. The building features a main hall for dinner or dancing, a large back porch overlooking the forest, and a catering kitchen. Use of our sound system, 1930s piano, and firewood is included in the rental fee. The capacity is 175 people.

Ponderosa Lodge

Our historic 1928 lodge is perfect for intimate ceremonies and receptions. With its cathedral ceilings, elaborate staircase, overlooking balconies, and dramatic features, Ponderosa Lodge provides a one-of-a-kind wedding experience. The capacity is 60 people.

Reception Hall Rates:
November through April $1,500
May through October $2,000

Rental fee typically includes initial set-up of facility’s tables and chairs and use of the fireplace and sound system. Typical reception rental is eight hours. Buildings are subject to availability.

**If the Taylor Memorial Chapel and a Reception Hall are booked together a discount of $300 is given**

La Foret requires $1,000,000 event liability insurance listing La Foret as co-insured for all weddings.
Beer, wine, and champagne are allowed in our facilities.
